Cinnamon Pancakes

Pancakes or waffles? That is the question. Well, for all you pancake lovers out there, this is a great recipe for you to try. Whether you like pancakes for breakfast or as a sweet treat after dinner, these cinnamon delights are perfect.

Cinnamon spice is a delicious way to make breakfast Christmassy, and these are sure to get you ready for your day.

Ingredients
For 4 pancakes
250g plain flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
480ml milk
4 tbsp syrup
6 tbsp butter
10 tbsp sugar
4 tsp ground cinnamon
vegetable oil/butter for greasing
480g icing sugar
120ml water
Method
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder and salt. In a smaller bowl, mix together the milk and syrup.
Combine the wet and dry ingredients and mix. Be careful not to over-mix.
In a small bowl, mix the butter, sugar and cinnamon. Move to a piping bag and cut off one corner.
Grease the pan over a medium heat. Pour some of the batter into the pan. Pipe the cinnamon mixture into a swirl shape onto the batter.
After about 3-4 minutes, flip the pancake.
Leave the other side cooking for another minute.
Repeat with the rest of the batter.
In a bowl, mix the icing sugar with water until you get a glaze.
Lightly pour over the pancakes.
